LCI Students Gain Industry Insights and Cultural Skills in Ayutthaya

On April 1, 2025, students from the Bachelor of Arts in Language for Careers (International Program) embarked on an educational field trip to deepen their understanding of production processes, marketing strategies, and service industry practices.

The day began with a visit to Ichitan Group, a leading beverage company in Thailand, where students explored the intricacies of product manufacturing and marketing operations. This firsthand experience provided valuable insights into the dynamics of the beverage industry.

In the afternoon, the students attended a lecture on service business management, enhancing their knowledge of the hospitality sector. The session emphasized the importance of customer service excellence and operational efficiency in service-oriented businesses.

To complement their learning, the students participated in a workshop on Western dining etiquette at Centara Ayutthaya, a contemporary hotel located in the heart of the historic city. The hotel, which opened in December 2023, features 224 rooms, diverse dining options, and modern amenities, making it an ideal setting for cultural immersion and practical learning experiences.

This comprehensive field trip not only enriched the students' academic knowledge but also equipped them with practical skills essential for their future careers in international business and hospitality.
