LCI Program Chair Publishes Research on MOFA Taiwan Fellowship and Center for Chinese Studies Websites
Dr. Phohnthip Naoise Smithsarakarn, a lecturer at the Center for International Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Srinakharinwirot University, and Chair of the Language for Careers International Program, recently had her research featured on both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ROC (Taiwan) Taiwan Fellowship and Center for Chinese Studies, National Central Library Taiwan websites.
Her research paper, titled "Taiwan’s Bilingual Policy and English Language Teaching: Quality in Higher Education," was conducted during her summer visit to Taiwan. The study offers insightful recommendations on the future direction of Taiwan’s 2030 Bilingual Policy, emphasising strategies to elevate bilingual education and enhance the quality of English language teaching in higher education.
