Study Trip to Koh-Kae Factory, Grande Centre Point Hotel, and Silverlake Vineyard

On January 20, 2020, third-year students from the Language for Careers International Program visited Mae-Ruay Snack Food Factory, Thailand’s leading manufacturer of peanut snacks, “Koh-Kae”, to learn about the entire manufacturing process. The 12-acre factory site is located on Rama 2 Road. In the afternoon, they visited the Grande Centre Point Hotel in Pattaya, where they were welcomed by representatives of the management and staff. The students participated in a guided tour of the hotel and its facilities before attending a reception and presentation hosted by the hotel’s management. Afterwards, they visited the Silverlake Vineyard in Pattaya and participated in many activities, such as touring the vineyard in an electric tram, trying some grape juice, and having dinner at the Silverlake Restaurant.
