2nd Bangkok Model United Nations

The School of Information and Communication of Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan collaborated with the Center for International Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Srinakharinwirot University for organizing the 2nd Bangkok Model United Nations on February 22, 2018 at Conference Room 4 in the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. The agenda of the conference this year was “Urbanization in Asia.” The conference consisted of 12 countries: Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Each country had a pair of delegates which is composed by students from both universities. It was a great opportunity for the students to develop their English skills and build their awareness to be a good global citizen by playing the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country.
