On January 31, 2018 Language for Careers International (LCI) students lead by Dr. Nattaya Piriyawiboon took visited Nong Don Community School, an elementary school in Saraburi province. The SWU LCI team were greeted by the charming smiles of the eager children and the hospitality of the principal, Ms. Chanakarn Sosawang and her excellent staff. This was truly an LCI team effort. The first year students prepared the teaching materials, while the hands on teaching was done by the second year students, and the third year raised funds and collected donations of goods. They made sure each child was given a bag of goodies to take home after their day of learning with the LCI. The project was a result of months of planning and discussions between Dr. Nattaya Piriyawiboon and Kru Nahm of Nong Don Community School. It was a great success due to the efforts of the LCI students, especially the second year students. LCI second year students planned and taught English lessons energetically and it was obvious that the students of Nong Don Community School enjoyed their lessons. A wonderful day and an enriching experience was had by all.
