Senior students of the Language for Careers (LC) program had their final project for the Tourism and Hospitality class on November 15, 2017. Section D role-played as the “SawasDee Tour” group and took their guests to Nakhon Pathom province. The itinerary consisted of three major stops: The Phra Pathom Chedi, the Don Wai floating market, and the Sampran Riverside Thai Village. Each stop was to provide a deep feeling of Thai culture and tradition. From visiting the oldest Buddhist structure in Thailand to sampling the traditional foods and snacks at the floating market to the hands-on experience of Thai cultural arts at Sampran Thai Village – the ‘tourists’ could really feel the rich traditions that Thailand has to offer thanks to the efforts of the SawasDee Tour Group.
