Collaboration Welcome: Learning together innovatively through language, culture and gender

On August 28, August 31 and September 1, 2017, classes taught at the Center for International Studies, Faculty of Humanities, welcomed Associate Professor Dr. Takane Kawashima, and 13 Japanese students from Meiji University. In this collaborative learning project, more than 40 students from LCI and LCC international programs actively engaged in their class activities. The Japanese team hosted a cross-cultural and gender awareness program while the LCI and LCC team conducted innovative learning activities. The team-building and cross-cultural sensitivity works among all students helped open their eyes to innovative ways to communicate successfully in intercultural settings.
